In-Shop Consultation
We start by discussing your space, style, needs and project goals.
Initial Design
We create a rough design with KCD drawings and renderings as the project takes shape.
Measure & Finalize
Once we have a solid project, we measure and finalize the drawings and details.
Approve & Start
When you're ready to move forward, a 50% deposit gets the project started.
Built by Albers
Your cabinetry is manufactured in-house at our Michigan shop.
Delivery / Installation
The remaining balance is due when the cabinetry is delivered/installed.
Three generations. One family business.
Albers Cabinets was founded in 1965 by brothers Jim, George and Richard Albers in Macomb County, Michigan. More than 60 years later, the family continues the cabinetmaking tradition from the same Gratiot Avenue location.
The Daugherty family's involvement grew through Mary Albers, sister of the three founders, and her husband William Daugherty Sr. Today, William Daugherty Jr. and Bryan Daugherty continue the family business.
Throughout its history, Albers has truly been a family operation. Sons, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and other family members have all contributed to the company over the years.

Refresh the Cabinets You Already Have.
If your existing cabinet boxes are still in good condition, a full replacement may not be necessary. Albers Family Cabinets can update existing cabinetry with new cabinet doors and drawer fronts to give the room a fresh look while working with what is already there.
